🏠 HDB Entryway Essential

Slim, smart, fits the HDB entryway.

Your front door corridor is maybe 90cm wide — don't waste it on a bulky console that blocks everyone from getting in. We curate the slim ones that still look atas. No fuss. Shiok.

Walkway clearance: Keep at least 90cm for comfort. That means console depth + legroom = your limit. For HDB corridors (usually 100–120cm total), a 25–30cm console is your sweet spot.

What goes on top?

  • ✅ Keys tray — for when you're rushing out
  • ✅ Mail sorting box — HDB mail piles up fast
  • ✅ Small potted plant — adds life, not bulk
  • ✅ Mirror (optional) — last check before leaving
Condo & landed note: If you have a wider foyer (like in a condo lobby or landed entrance), you can go up to 35–40cm depth. More shelf space, still stylish. Just measure first sia. Don't guess.

Questions Singapore Buyers Ask

Short answer: not if you pick the right one.

Most HDB 3-room and 4-room flats have an entry corridor that's about 100–120cm wide. If you put a 40cm console there, you're left with 60–80cm of walking space — which is tight for two people passing each other, and annoying when you're carrying groceries or a delivery.

Our recommendation: Go for 25–30cm depth for HDB units. That leaves you a comfortable 70–95cm walkway. The Tucker Slim Walnut (25cm) and Nico Marble Top (30cm) both fit this sweet spot perfectly. If you live in a condo or landed property with a wider foyer (150cm+), you can safely go up to 35–40cm and still have plenty of room.

Pro tip: Measure your corridor FIRST before buying. Use a tape measure from wall to opposite wall. Subtract 90cm (minimum walking space) and that's your max console depth. Don't skip this step — we've seen too many people return furniture because they guessed wrong sia.

Absolutely — that's literally what these are made for.

HDB entries are small, yes. But a slim console table actually reduces clutter instead of adding to it. Think about it: without a console, your keys, mail, and masks end up on the kitchen counter or living room table — everywhere. A 25cm console gives you a dedicated "landing zone" right by the door.

The trick is keeping it minimal. One key tray, one small plant, maybe a framed photo. Don't turn it into a storage overflow zone. The Halden Narrow at 20cm deep is our pick for really tight BTO spaces — it's basically a floating shelf with style points.

And yes, it looks atas. We promise. A nice walnut or marble-top console makes your entry feel intentional, not accidental. Guests will notice.

We deliver islandwide and most orders arrive in 3–7 working days.

All our console tables are packed in double-boxed packaging with corner protectors. For HDB flats, we deliver to the ground floor or your block entrance — if you need it brought upstairs, that's an extra S$15–S$30 depending on floor level and lift availability. Landed properties get white-glove delivery (into the room of your choice) at no extra charge.

If anything arrives damaged, don't stress — we'll send a replacement within 48 hours, no questions asked. We've been doing this for years and our damage rate is under 2%. But if it happens, we sort it die die.

Assembly: Most models come 90% assembled. You just attach the legs (3 minutes, no tools needed). The wall-mounted options require a drill — we include a template and video guide.

Good question — people mix these up all the time.

A console table is long and narrow, designed to go against a wall. It's your entryway workhorse — keys, mail, decorations. Typical size: 80–120cm wide × 25–40cm deep.

A side table is smaller and squarer, meant to sit beside a sofa or chair. Typical size: 40–60cm wide × 40–50cm deep.

For your HDB entry? You want a console table. Something slim and wall-hugging. A side table would stick out too far and become an obstacle course. We only sell console tables here because that's what Singapore homes actually need. No confusion sia.
